Art Vistas

The purpose of the Art Vistas Program is to provide instruction and enrichment in Art History, Art Appreciation, and Art Techniques. Through art we can learn about history, people, places, and things. Learning to appreciate art helps us understand what artists are trying to say or express.  Art teaches us about discipline and respect.  Art is about becoming aware of our feelings and emotions, and being able to express them.  The Art Vistas program is run by parent volunteers who instruct and facilitate the Art Vistas lessons.  The Art Vistas lessons are curriculum based and follow the California State Key Standards for the Visual Arts.
